Replication leads to an unproven assumption

Behind the idea of replication is a false assumption that life is separate
from other life. That each life form is separate. Yet that is an assumption
that we've accepted without proof.
And its an assumption that I don't want to take without some proof.
We could just as easily assume that all life is one collective single entity.
If we assume all life is one, and there is no reason why that cannot
be assumed - then replication is no more than putting a
new leaf on the tree. Whether you accept that or not, by thinking of
life (collective life) as a single stabilizing reaction to the environment -
then it
takes the anthropomorphic bias out of it, and it becomes easier to
see all life as a reaction, not a beginning - an adaptation not a creation for
a self purpose, etc.
Life is a response to the past, not a beginning of the future
Life is a response of certain chemicals to forced energy,
under certain conditions, and within certain temperature boundaries.
