As a point of information, is the Discovery Institute considered to be
a valid [and nominally unbiased] science-related organization, or one
with a specific "agenda"?

[moderator's note: It's a crypto-creationist front. I probably
should have stepped in and dinged this thread earlier, but just
to make it clear: I regard "intelligent design" as creationism,
and since discussion related to the creation/evolution argument
is forbidden on this newsgroup, it follows that discussion of
ID is also forbidden. Talk.origins is the place for that. - JAH]
