Does anyone know the up to date estimates on when the major races of
human-kind split apart? For example if you go back far enough we must
have all been African. When did the poulations split into negroids,
caucasoids, South East Asians/pacific islanders and North East Asians?

Speciation is defined as when interbreeding becomes impossible. That's not
the case with any humans, though there are sometimes high social barriers,
maybe psychological barriers, to interbreeding.
The Australian aborigines were, until Captain Cook, the longest isolated
group of humans. They are thought to have arrived in Australia around 50,000
years ago.
