Hardly. I am posing a question. To some degree, I think you are
hampered by political correctness. For example, it is not PC to admit
that intelligence can be quantified if you do the tests properly. If
you are sitting in a calculus class in university , you sure figure out
who is smart and who is not. Certain traits like looks and intelligence
are inherited in clusters. I have observed hundreds of families and the
exceptions are rare. If you are a female and you decide to be
inseminated by a genius father, you are likely going to get a child
that has the brains and the looks of the father or the brains and looks
of the mother. There are tons of genes that determine intelligence, but
for some reason most people inherit either their mother or fathers
intelligence and not a mix.

Quite clear to *you*, perhaps.
However you may experience some difficulty in finding
a real biologist who agrees with you.

Or any informed layman. Wiseman didn't post to really ask a
question. He just wanted to straighten out everyone who takes the
trouble to learn something. Like a football player in my outfit in
Korea. He was sore because Einstein had canceled a lecture, and the
player had wanted to correct Einstein.
Cheers
