Taking the "I" out of evolution

Many say that we can tell life from non-life because
evolution has started.

But evolution is just an advanced stage of stability. So it is more
a continuance than an origin of anything new. It's tough taking
the 'I' out of evolution - but there is no ego in the origin.
It is just the continuation of manys steps in reaction to the
sun/uv/heat cycle.

We as humans WANT it to be more special, separate and independent,
and that is hampering clear thinking.
