You probably just want to move a few genes. That could be done -
by someone who knew what they are doing.

If the genetically engineered cannabis tales are anything more than
scare stories, something similar may already have been done.

However, bear in mind that cannabinols are fat-soluble. Fatty
teas are at least possible (e.g. chamomile). I'm not so sure
about fat in beer.

Durian, cocoa and coffee also seem to be in line for similar treatment.
