The general organ "eye" can loosely be considered homologous, if you
define eye as being a spot of rhodopsin

In which case you'd really define pineal gland as a thrid eye?

I just now looked it up. The human pineal gland (as well as chicken
pineal glands and other pineal glands) does indeed contain rhodopsin.
Therefore, I would consider it homologous to the eye.
