Resend - Triggered Pain Memories Lead to Chronic Problems

There is growing evidence that memories and reality are electrochemically
indistinguisable in the human brain. There is also strong evidence that
repressed pain leads to health problems.
I suggest that the body has evolved to treat memories and reality in a very
similar manner. And that repressed PHYSICAL pain episodes in early childhood
that are not consciously expressed, can be triggered throughout life by their
memories.
And that these re-triggering pain episodes lead to
1. re experiencing the pain - this time without the injury.
2. the body reacting to the pain memory as if it was an actual physical pain,
and overcompensating by responding to the memory as if it was a new injury.
3. that this overcompensation to a threat that is no longer there, leads to
long term chronic pain and health problems.
4. that consciously expressing this early childhood physical pain will stop
the re-triggering process. And should be the main goal of any therapy.
5. that mostly this repressed pain is from the age of 5-10 when the body
is learning how to feel, then consciously express physical pain.
6. that there are no pain memories formed from birth - 5.
7. that to a lesser degree there is repressed physical pain during the age
10-20
(which includes puberty). And to an even lesser degree is repressed physical
pain during the age of 20 - on. By adulthood the body has learned a process to
express and eliminate pain openly in most people.
I also contend that the same process of retriggering past physical pain,
works for retriggering past physical pleasure. And that this retriggering
of past pleasurable physical feelings cause the body to react
in the same way that the initial pleasure did.
Thus to sum up. There is a layer of repressed physical pain from
the age of 5-10. When these first pain memories are triggered,
they reproduce that physical pain. The body falsely treats that
pain memory as a physical pain and over reacts to the non existent
memory. The therapy is to consciously resolve hidden physical
pain memories from 5-10 (and to a lesser degrees the periods
after 10 years old.
