I wanted to purchase a poster showing a high-level tree-of-life, a
cladogram illustrating evolution and cladistics. But I searched and
searched and couldnt find one. So I ended up drawing my own. Anyone
is free to download it and print it, it is at:

http://www.tellapallet.com/tree_of_life.htm

100% of the data came from reputable sources (Science journal, NIH,
etc), but if you find any errors please let me know so I can rectify
them.

I hope this posting is not too forward: I am merely an amateur
scientist, but I noticed that another person had posted an inquiry on
this group asking if anyone knew where to obtain a poster showing the
evolutionary tree of life, so I guessed that perhaps there are lots of
people out there hunting for the same sort of poster.

If anyone wants the raw vector data (Adobe Illustrator format) let me
know.

Humbly,
neal

Why are viruses basal? I thought they were shed by living cells all the
[evolutionary] time?
