Ah, the venerableGavrilov& Gavrilova! Definitely very interesting
theory. I've been lucky enough to meetLeonidfew times and heard
lots about this theory already in place long ago when he was at Moscow
State, and not referred to as "University of Chicago scientist".

Just curious where and when have we ever met each other?

I was biophysics student at Moscow State's School of Biology
1983-1988 and ended up defending Ph.D. thesis there in 1992.
Naturally, I had lots of friends and acquaintances at
Belozersky Institute. Just about everyone bumped into everyone
there :-) At some point I was a clueless student and you were
already established scientist. I remember first hearing you on a
seminar and being struck by how beautifully parsimonious the
explanation was.
