Slightly off topic - but I need to pick your brains!
I've got some stainless steel cutlery - not of great monetary valuable but
of sentimental value.
I'm guessing that stainless steel is a bit of a misnomer! Some of the
pieces have black 'stains' on them. I've tried rubbing them off, and
polishing with a weak acid (vinegar!), and they don't want to shift! Can
any body make some suggestions - ideally using household / hardware store
chemicals.
Thanks
Den
