: Gee, Schultz, weren't you the one who said it would never be accepted
: by a journal for consideration?
Provide a direct quote for what I said -- if you can.
: You posted a big long rambling e-mail punctiliously detailing all
: its shortcomings.
I never post emails.
: 1) Schwartz never answers my critic troll ravings!
That is not what I say. What I say is that you never address any criticism.
Not the same thing -- and still true in this case.
: 2) Schwartz has no right to answer my critic troll ravings!
I've never said anything of the sort, but if it makes you feel happy,
please don't let me stop you from continuing to believe it (that's basically
the attitude that I have toward people of his stripe -- you know, like
the guy who used to stand out on Telegraph Avenue proclaiming his "proof"
that Steven King and Richard Nixon conspired to murder John Lennon).
: 3) When Uncle Al smells lutafisk on 10 December 2007, he'll think
: of you, Schultz.
If your theory is so wonderful, why are you so afraid to answer questions
about the experiment?
As I said before, you would be amusing if you weren't so pathetic.
:> Dear Dr. Schwartz,
:>
:> The editors acknowledge receipt of the above manuscript on [snip] 2004
:> and are considering it for possible publication as a regular article
:> in [snip].
Note that once again, you fail to name the "journal". Also note that
once again, you fail to even pretend to be able to tell the truth.
: The e-mail then proceeds with Referee and other stuff. Pookie pookie
: critic troll Schultz.
It also does not indicate *anywhere* that the article has been "accepted"
for publication. It indicates that the paper has been received in the
editorial office and has been sent out for review. It also indicates that
your understanding of what is going on is limited, and that my description
of the way refereed journals work was absolutely spot on correct.
