In cool wet weather, the air will be denser from the temperature, but
less dense from the moisture. As ideal gases go, each H20 molecule
displaces one N2 or O2 molecule. As 18 is less than 28 or 32, the air
is less dense.
This can also be confirmed by examination of a psychrometric chart, for
those people who insist upon actual measure data. Such purists!
