I always simply mix a solvent with acrylic, to form a glue with the
consistancy desired. Once dry, it is pure acrylic, so it forms joints that
are clear and darned near as strong as the original acrylic.

However I do not understand the requirement of:

Must be unaffected by long term UV or Sunlight

Since acrylic IS affected by UV and sunlight, why does just the joint have
to be not affected?
