Perhaps 15 years ago, the journal Nature published a paper on the effect of a homeopathic medicine on blood cells. When the
accuracy of the research was questioned, Nature sent a crack team of scientists to visit the lab. What they found was a poor
experimental design in which the people making the measurements knew which samples were controls and which were treated, and
they decieved themselves to get the results that were wanted. That hasn't stopped believers in homeopathy from referring to
the original publication, without mention of the later findings on the methods.
