You know Craig?

As everybody else, me too, I was created.

I was created by my mother and my father, in a spring night.

I came later, and they told me, it was fun.

And they?

They were created by their mothers, and their fathers.

Who were the parents of life itself?

Maybe the question is nonsense. There is no beginning to life.
There is no end to it. Life exists as long as the universe existed.
It is as infinite as matter itself, indeed it is an essential
characteristic of matter.

Life is always created by other life. We have never seen
anything else. Pasteur proved it in the 19th century
already.

There is no "creator", there are only parents.

Who are our own parents?

Did we came in a bacterium that slept in a comet long time ago?

Did we came forth from other beings unfathomable to us, seeding the
cosmos with life?

This are questions that science can't answer. We just have no data.

The same held for the nature of the stars, several centuries ago.

We were not ready then, to start understanding what a star is.
We didn't know about the atomic elemnts, fusion reactions, etc.

Now we are closer, and we can start grasping the answer.

The same with those questions above. We just have not enough data
to start even the beginning of an answer: we have never left our
planet, we have never found any other life, we do not know at all
where the other living beings are.

So we have to just continue our struggle until we arrive at
the stage where it is possible to start answering those questions:

o When we find other living beings
o When we know other biochemistries different than ours
o When we have a firmer grasp of chemistry and the basics
   of life itself.

*Then*

we will start grasping what those questions really mean.

Meanwhile, reactionaries hold to their lies about the Creators,
the Gods, the angels, the devils and all that crap.

Nobody knows the answers. The religious zealots *say* they
know but they know nothing at all.

At least the scientists are not afraid of telling the truth:

*We just do not know*
