NIOSH draft alert: ISOCYANATES!

Has anyone seen the draft put out by the National Institute for
Occupational Safety and Health re: isocyanates in the spray on truck
bed liner industry? People were actually asked to read the draft to
make comments and request changes. I was recently inquiring
information about isocyanates because my husband works in this
industry. I didn't realize it was this serious!! NIOSH is urging all
employers, small business owners, and health care providers to inform
their employees and anyone possibly affected; about the adverse health
effects from exposure to isocyanates. If anyone has anything to
add...please respond. This is a big scare and something needs to be
done about it. Education is the key to safety.
