Thanks a lot for the helpful suggestion. I don't think it would work for
me for the following reasons, some of which might be valid:
(1) I'd have to travel to Boston, which would be inconvenient and expensive.
(2) I'd need food and lodging while I was in Boston, also expensive and
inconvenient.
(3) I might have to bring the DU-2 spectrophotometer with me, which would
be even more expensive and inconvenient.
(4) The chances that the power supply for the DU-2 will actually turn up
through any one swapfest are extremely low.
One possible way to make this work would be for someone who goes to this
swapfest anyway to see if they can find the old power supply and let me
know if they find it.
