But there is no conflict. If you're looking for some intuition into the
electronic behavior of organic molecules, particularly conjugated ones,
then Dewar's PMO method wins hands down. Now is the time to declare
Pauling's theory officially dead. I also challenge VB enthusiasts to
produce a patch for Pauling's theory to improve it without requiring
recourse to a computer.
