The politicized science bothers me, e.g. G. W. Bush saying the other
day that "intelligent design" or "creationism" should be taught in
science classes. And unlike Mr. Jackson, the President can mobilize
resources to ensure this is acually done.

Mr. Jackson's statements, at the least, acually parallel those of some
climtologists. ["Such an increase in the upper-limit intensity of
hurricanes with global warming was suggested on theoretical grounds by
M.I.T. Professor Kerry Emanuel in 1987."
http://www.gfdl.noaa.gov/~tk/glob_warm_hurr.html]

Perhaps more disturbing is the lack of objection by detractors of Mr.
Jackson to the politicized science of "creationism," a.k.a.
"intelligent design," solely because their *politics* differs fro that
of Mr. Jackson.

Or are there Professors of Biology at places like M.I.T. that support
Mr. Bush, and creationism/intelligent design?
