I don't believe they do. So does Pauling's General Chemistry cover all
the concepts needed for IIT-JEE?
I have never seen a IIT-JEE test. Pauling's General Chemistry text is
for one's own improvement and for leisure reading. I would not suggest
it for admission test preparation neither it is meant for this purpose.
You would be lucky to own a copy of it. I don't think if it is commonly
available.
Pauling General Chemistry is available, AFAIK, as an inexpensive Dover
reprint. As someone has already noted, used copies are available.
I would hesitate to suggest you spend money on it, or on any specific
book. But if you come across one, in your library or from a prof or
friend, I would certainly encourage you to have a look, and to
consider using it as one book in your preparation.
