Nationwide Chemistry and Physics Sample Test

The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence is proud to
inform you of a great opportunity for you and your colleagues. We are
in our final stages of developing a Chemistry and Physics Certification
for America's prospective teachers. The American Board has been
working diligently to develop standards-based exams and is now in the
process of recruiting participants to sample test the questions. Not
only can you put your subject area knowledge to the test, but we will
pay you for it!
Currently, we are seeking individuals who are highly qualified in the
Chemistry and Physics fields. The following describes those who are
eligible and compensation plans of each subject. To register for this

Chemistry
Participants will be awarded a $75 stipend for taking the chemistry
sample exam. As an incentive, those who score within the top 25th
percentile will receive an additional $50, resulting in a total of
$125.
Those eligible must meet at least one of the following:
· Experience teaching chemistry as a teacher or professor
· Have an undergraduate or graduate degree in chemistry
· Have experience working in research labs or pharmaceutical
companies
· Completed at least FIVE college chemistry courses
· Currently enrolled medical students
Physics
Participants will be awarded a $100 stipend for taking the physics
sample exam. As an incentive, those who score within the top 25th
percentile will receive an additional $50, resulting in a total of
$150.
Those eligible must meet at least one of the following:
· An undergraduate or graduate degree in physics
· Experience teaching physics as a teacher or professor
· Completed at least FIVE college physics courses
· Industry related experience (engineers, physicists, scientific
programmers, etc)
All tests are administered at Pearson VUE testing centers, located in
most metropolitan areas. The tests consist of approximately 126 to 160
computer-based multiple-choice questions and generally take two hours
to complete. Testing is entirely confidential and results are used only
for statistical purposes. Our goal is to obtain data on each individual
question.
