Getting rid of chemicals

This might be nothing but I thought I would ask....
I have made a crude air conditioner in my bed room pumping cold water
through 1/4in copper pipe coiled behind a box fan. I filled a cooler
with water and ice, and am using a fish tank pump to circulate the
water. I also added lots of table salt to the water to lower the
freezing
temp. After about a week I now have a very distinct blue coloring to
the water. I imagine it is the copper and salt doing something. Is this
solution safe, and is it safe to dispose down the drain? I wanted to
ask before I did anything harmful.
Thanks for the help!
