Hi!!! I'm learning to balance chemical equations, and can you give me
some pointers? This is the one I'm currently working on:
Al+O2 -> Al2O3
Do I balance it like this:
2Al+(3/2)O2 -> Al2O3
4Al+3O2 -> 2AlO3
Advice needed!!!! Thanks!!!!!!
The really cool thing about balancing an equation is that you *immediately*
know if you've done it right. If there are the same number of each type of
atom on both sides of the equation, and the same total charge on both sides
of the equation, it's balanced. And both of these meet that criterion,
especially if you change the typo AlO3.
