Is it possible for a small change to cause large and wide spread
changes ? Suppose the world saw cars and trucks as an expensive
method and switched to electric trains . E' trains can run thru cities
and the outback without stopping for "traffic" , no stop signs
and no need to ever yield the right of way .
If we could stop the gov't from forcing vehicles on us , we'd need
1/10 the oil , and 1/100 th the rubber .
300 million people happily getting on E' trains only 4 blocks from
their
house and getting to work in LA in only 20 minutes , vs 120 minutes .
As you can see , the govt has done ALL trains wrong in the USA .
Study Europe if you cant see my point . It was major political .
Consume 1/10 the petroleum and 1/100 th the rubber and far less
plastic and .......
E' trains can criss cross cities , one EW elevated , other NS
at ground level .
you board , step onto another train , coupled to yours at 40 mph ,
and commute between large cities , without delay !
The initial cost is too HIGH !!! When you are bankrupted
by personal vehicles , the cost is NOT too high .
They use lots of trains in the poorest parts of this earth .
Switzerland ...... fast , efficient , welded rail , quiet ..

Although there is no acid to begin with in tires, is it possible that[hanson]
citric acid could be created from tires though a chemical reaction?
Tires typically are composed of
-- Natural rubber .......... 14 - 27 %
-- Synthetic rubber .......... 14 - 27%
-- Carbon black .......... ~ 28%
-- Steel .......... 14 - 15%
-- Fabric, fillers, accelerators, antiozonants, etc. 16 - 17%
None of those ingredients will produce in any profitable way,
via organic synthesis or bio-chem way, any citric acid.
But keep working at it. If you can turn used tires into any
useful chemical or product you'll become a billionaire.
And the green shits will love you, especially after you have
paid them, up front, vast amounts for their permit charges,
user fees, recycling permits, haz-mat handling and -transport
permit charges... ahahahaha... *** ENVIROS!

If this was a fever dream, then there must be some other[hanson]
reason why cheap lemonade and soft drinks taste like tires.
Anyone know?
W. Pooh (AKA Winnie P.)
ahahahaha... only the tire-biter would know that. The tire-biter
does not live in the 100 acre forest, but it is disgusting to hear
that someone has "disposed of properly" used tires into
the 100 acre forest. Are your eating shredded tires now
instead of cornflakes? -- Thank the environmentalists for that.
