A. When I queried another group about whether or not the following
chemical show up
in GC/MS or LC/MS?
3,5-Di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzylidene)malononitrile
Also known as AG17 and Tyrphostin A9
And Tyrphostin 9 and RG-50872 and SF 6847
One person posted:
===This should go through a GC column if you derivatize the hydroxyl
===group. Based on mass spectra of similar compounds, it should give a
=== strong molecular ion. It could also be detected by LC/MS.
Is it your opinion that this chemical would be detected in tissue or
blood of victim?
B. I found the following paper's reference:
Horiuchi et al, 1971 "synthesis of an active protonophore SF6847"
Agrit: Biol Chem 35 2003-2006
Ok, I'm ignorant, but would you help me identify the full name
of the publication "Agrit: Biol Chem"
Thanks for any help!
