I think he means polyamide...
Personally I can't see nylon doing anything with that paint. I doubt if the
paint will even adhere that well to nylon - I would think that any minor
build up would start cracking and flaking (of the paint layer). As someone
else said, it's used for paint brushes. The things that nylon does not like
is mineral acids (It reminds me of a girl who spilt some dilute hydrochloric
on the floor - all her tights suddenly went into loads of holes from the
drops that splashed back up), and I suspect strong bases is a no no as well
(never clean you paint brushes in caustic - dissolves the bristles!).
