SWAG: Does hot aqueous disodium EDTA or borax go after it?
I do not know but I doubt it. If deposited hot onto CLEAN glass, it survives
rubbing with a rubber eraser and pulling off with Scotch tape.
Sure - physically robust. But does it dissolve in hot water if the
magnesium or fluoride is pulled out of the crystal lattice? We're
only talking less than a micron of thickness. If nothing moves, add a
drop of Dawn diswashing liquid to aid wetting and try again.
EDTA *plus* borax kinda cancels. That is the last try. The universe
is ironic
