Anyways, I didn't really take an interest in global warming until I
saw Al Gore's movie. But I have a pretty strong feeling that 'using
less fuel' is not nearly good enough. I think pro-active manipulation
of the environment is necessary.
I encountered one author who actually suggested knocking the earth
Compare the area of exposed weathering granite FOB planetwide to that
of forests (near FOB - free after planting) to that of proposed
whatever ($trillion studies and subsidies). Do the arithmetic and
apologize for public stooopidity.
