hai
if i want to remove silicate scale with acid or base week
what must i do?
what coumpound of chemical can I uses?????
thank's alot
Where is it and how severe is the deposit? What sort of substrate is the
silicate deposited onto, and what is the actual form of the silicate?
I think you can probably see where I'm headed.
The simplest answer is to use hydrofluoric acid, but that is a dangerous
application.
Automobile radiator shops can sometimes remove silicate deposits with
a hot high alkalinity bath.
The answer, if a good one exists, would depend upon the conditions.
