Re: What is the temperature effect on C02 dissolving in sea water?

Come on, this IS a sci. newsgroup. Learn some damn science!

I can find this on line:
"As carbon dioxide dissolves in water, there is another change. The water becomes very slightly acid. ..
CO2 + H2O -> <- H2CO3"

Now I am thinking that because there is a physical dissolving and a chemical formation of acid, that there is not one equation, but some graphs in a handbook showing the equilibrium of CO2 dissolving as a function of pressure with temp held constant and as a function of temperature with pressure held constant.

I am interested in the slope of the line near 2 degrees C at one atmosphere.
