It would need to be replicated in environment that is heavily
analyzed for neutron background. Say run the apparatus
without current for a month, verify absence of pits.

Than run it with current for a month, verify presence of pits
and how much. They will need to find a way to quantify the
pit count (e.g. neutrons count)

Repeat with various run-times.

Verify that amount of pits in all tests is proportional to
run-time with current.
