Mr.P.: What is a conditioned generalized reinforcer, could you elaborate?
GS: A stimulus that acquires its reinforcing efficacy because it has been
"paired" with so many different reinforcers that it is effective no matter
what the person's circumstances of deprivation and satiation.
Mr.P.: You once talked about stimulus sets?
GS: Stimulus classes?
Mr.P.: Is there such a thing as a responce
set, in which one of a number of responses are possible and also
combinations of these responces, in relation to a given stimulus?
GS: I don't know what you mean by "a number of responses are possible." Aren
't other responses always "possible?" If you are asking can such an
environment be arranged and what is the effect, that's a different question.
Mr.P.: To take this further is there such a thing as a stimulus set where
one of a
set of stimuli or some combination of those stimuli give rise to a responce
set where the responce is a member of that set or a combination of responces
in the responce set.
GS: I can't see what you are asking.
