Gathering intelligence? No wonder you sound so daft if that's the way
you think about these matters.
What's quite clear is that you, Ozkural, Michaels etc just get "it" all
hopelessly wrong. If you got "it" right and *then* presented some
objections, it might be an entirely different matter. At least then
there would be the opportunity for some "intelligent" discussion. As it
is, you just prompt Glen, I and a few others to repeatedly tell you that
none of you know what you are talking about! There are two points here.
First you don't understand what you are told and then you make silly
remarks about what you don't understand attributing your misconceptions
to source! That's solipsism and it's something which at least some folk
who are drawn to computer science and mathematics seem particularly
prone to. The reason why Patty (and one or two others) don't get the
same sort of responses to her posts is that she makes a better effort to
show that she has grasped some of what has been said. She knows she has
something to learn, even if she gets things wrong - and that's why
there's some point to her exchanges. Having said that, I have made it
clear to her that at times she too corrupts what has been said - and
sometimes no doubt, just for the hell of it. People do that in order to
get a different angle, it's all part of learning. You, Ozkural,
Michaels, Rickert etc do this to the point of idiocy though.
Charitably, one might surmise that you, Michaels and Ozkural are, in
some ways, are even more "girlie" than Patty in that you apparently need
even *more* public verbal interaction to assuage your (atypical in males
perhaps) "high rate of unreinforced nurturing" operants <g>. Perhaps a
consequence of too much time at the keyboard - ie of social deprivation
<g>.
