Neuroscientist Malcolm Young is mentioned in the Hawkins' review
article as saying ... "... a current wave of experiments is showing
that what neurons do is listen to both what the eye, for example, is
telling the brain, and also to onboard information about what's
likely, given a particular scene ..."
