Well, I want to build a machine. And Lester seems to be saying if we build
an intelligent machine, it will have to emulate, or be (?), a "subjective
processes". So if that's what the machine I want to build is, it seems
useful for me to find out what Lester thinks I need to build.

I've got very strong ideas about what type of machine I think I need to
build. And so far, I haven't been able to match up my understanding to
his. But maybe there's something Lester sees that I dont see and which I
will need to see before my machine will ever work. So I'm just exploring
ideas in an attempt to learn new things.
