A variant might be hoping one is "on the same wavelength" with someone
regarding whether chocolate vs. blue-berry muffins are "nice" - perhaps
as a prelude to getting into each others pants!
Why else would people such as yourself and starstruck utter such asinine
rubbish? You're doing nothing different from guys who talk about "the
game" or valley-gals who talk "whatever". All you're doing is using a
different *medium*, and that's because you basically don't know how to
talk *rationally* (scientifically).
