Please excuse me if I'm not understanding your point. Usenet is an
open forum and so I, who doesn't get most of the terminology you guys
use, actually ended up reading this thread cuz, well, killing time,
you know?

Are you saying that intelligence must somehow be "good"? That would
mean that those extremely sophisticated serial killers that sometimes
appear are dumb. I think that would be a stretch.

(sorry if I'm misunderstanding you)

(On the other hand, I don't think that we as a mass are very
intelligent. As individuals perhaps, but as a species we are probably
only on a slightly higher level than myxomycetes)
