I'm not so sure of that. Anyone that already has advanced degrees would
likely help out a "youngster."

I did answer with a question: "Don't you have an advisor?" This is
especially relevant to a Master's which is supposed to only demonstrate
research competence, and a project is, frequently, simply assigned to a
student. A situation in which a student that is ready to start work on a
Master's project needs to solicit advice on the Internet does not seem
right.
