No, it is not. He has the same amount of money in his pocket as
before the tax. The landowners has less, so he is the one paying the
tax. I don't know any clearer, simpler way to explain this, but you
have convinced me that you are somehow able to prevent yourself from
knowing it, no matter how it is explained.

Nope. Flat false, as every bankrupt firm in history has proved.

How many proofs would be needed to change your mind, Bob? There have
been many millions of bankruptcies, every single one of which proved
you wrong, absolutely and unequivocally. The real-world customers of
those real-world firms _did_not_ pay the entire freight,
_in_the_real_world_. Would a billion proofs be enough to change your
mind? How about a trillion?

It has become clear that facts that prove your beliefs are false are
nevertheless not capable of changing them.
