Frustration causes a psychological need for fantasies. Most religions
carefully supply these to its naive adherents who are led to imagine
them to be literally true.
Sexual frustration when combined with religion
produces a combination of false pride and self denigrating masochism
and lots of nasty ascetics. It allows a privileged and often corrupt
clergy to wield power over those who won’t think for themselves.
One should realize that induced sexual frustration is a weapon of all
religions,
In their Naiveté many people believe that their frustration is
attractive to a God who will grant them favors. Frustration is thus
thought to be morally desirable.
The most religions see sex at best, as a dirty necessity. On a
personal level, this
usually leads to irrational fear, a naive reverence, asocial behavior,
and more often than not, to a lifetime of frustrating lousy sex. On
mass it leads to the miseries of overpopulation, unwanted poorly cared
for children and an obsessive interest in sex to the exclusion of
matters of far greater importance.
