As many as I want - personally I want a society where aging does not
determine my death - I choose to live longer through education, diet,
finance, exercise, etc etc. If some few hundred or few thousand years or
more into the future I decide I want to check out - so be it - my choice
- not yours or mother nature's - mine - hehe. I still have a lot of
things I want to learn about the universe, maybe after that is satiated I
will become bored and get tired of waking up. Watch an episode of Dr.
Who or the Sean Connery film Zardoz - people can choose to die - There
was an episode of Star Trek where they wanted to get infected by Kirks
natural viruses so they could die because they overpopulated - but all
these people made the CHOICE to cease existance. I have been spoiled my
whole life by american culture and abundance of choice, I like it, I have
gotten used to it, and I want CHOICE in when it's my time to go as well -
I believe it to be an achievable goal and something we all need to work
towards. Of course you never know when the the earth is in the way of
the bypass and the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy wrecking crew is
coming - hehe.
