You see, son, "economic growth" as claimed by Republicans waving the
GDP around is very very dependent on lying about inflation. If the
increase in the amount of money flying around in the economy (GDP)
is due to inflation (as it actually is, you see) then our economy
is probably shrinking (as it actually is). IOW, if the truth were
considered then George Bush would have already been out of a job
through impeachment.
