"For best results, avoid doing stupid things."
That quote is from a site linked to under the rubric
"Important Information for Idiots".

Somehow it seems to cover the US election, where, as
election day approaches, the current president is so
much not enjoying the chickens coming home to roost
from his egregious mismanangment of the nation that
he is:
avoiding reporters

It's a pretty sad day when an American President is
so afraid of the truth, he is in full retreat from
the media, so used to the marionette role, he can't
cope with questions in an open forum, all he can do
is:
Bush skated past the bad news,
sticking to his prepared remarks
Seems Slick Willie isn't the only US president
skilled at slip-sliding away.
So, as you mark up your ballot on Tuesday, if your
pencil should happen to want to stray toward the
Bush/Cheney spot, just remember to take a lesson
from the Acme Klein Bottle company:
"For best results, avoid doing stupid things."
Your country, indeed, the whole world, will thank
you.
