So here you are, bringing name calling and flaming to this thread as
well and asking me a question that I have already answered twice. Your
argument was that "banks monetize the credit of the community" which
means banks create money. In other words you had no argument. So I
will state it again, a third time just for you.
On a fixed rate 30-year loan of $100,000 @ 5% interest the total paid
back will be $249,555.45. The bank will have made the extra
$149,555.45 in interest simply by adding new deposit dollars in
accounts on their books in exchange for a borrower's IOU. The point is
that the banks should charge no more than $15 or $20 but instead they
earn 149k. There are tons of other services that are no less
complicated than this service, like ebay or paypal. The service they
provide they only charge pennies or a few dollars. There are even some
people that are willing to do it for free. John Turmel once offered
the Canadian government a few hundred million in chip tokens when they
needed a loan.... at no interest or service charge. The tokens would
have instantly had value since they could have been used to pay taxes.
It would have worked. Even I could install a LETs type software on my
computer and run the program with my spare resources for free.
What kind of dope would call someone a "con-man" who is not even
selling anything? Does that mean you are running out of names? John
Turmel is not selling LETs software.. he is giving it for free even
though he financed it himself. He has financed his own elections for
25 years just to become a public servant. He has nothing to gain
except what everyone would gain from the delivery from economic
servitude.
