Ah, yes Rhodes' Scholar Clinton was arrogant to the
help, while C student Bush knows to defer to his
betters, hired thugs with better GPAs than his. But
Clinton did the "balanced budget" trick, despite
being a despised "liberal", and Bush hasn't the
first clue what "balanced budget" means, despite
being a revered "conservative". Clinton got into
Somalia, not a smart move, but got right back out
when it became an obvious disaster-in-the-making;
Bush got into Iraq, a really, really stupid move,
and Bush _still_ has us in Iraq, while the body
count grows and the terrorists' recruiting has never
been easier. This just goes to show that good
manners aren't an indication of competence.
Meanwhile, ofortune() was just now kind enough to
cough up the Bush second term agenda, which I
thought I'd share. Compare it to his actions, not
to his manners or promises, and see how close a
match it makes in your mind:
PLUNDERER'S THEME
(to Supercalifragilisticexpialidocius)
Pillage, rape, and loot and burn, but all in moderation.
If you do the things we say, then you'll soon rule the nation.
Kill your foes and enemies and then kill your relations.
Pillage, rape, and loot and burn, but all in moderation.
HTH
xanthian.
Though, to be frank, I miss where the "moderation"
part comes in; maybe I'm too impatient.
