Well, would you rather save every receipt for EVERY penny that you spend on
anything? If the money isn't in your bank account, it can be assumed that
you were a good consumer and spent it on something. I suppose if you could
prove you stuffed it all in your mattress, then you could probably get a tax
break (and a psych eval) :) -Dave
