Every drop of water I swallow deprives someone else of that drop. Every
lungful of air I breath pollutes it and makes it unusable to anyone
else. It is expropriation and theft. I should pay a tax on -every- drop
of water I consume and -every- lungful of air I breath.

I did not create the air or the water, yet I deprived someone else of
its use.

If you consider this conclusion abusrd, then consider the premis from
which it follows.
