I'm still trying to understand what exactly it is that Bob believes.
On numerous occasions, he has articulated a core belief that "might
makes right" and that the only right to property (any property) that
exists is that the property is yours only so long as you can personally
defend it through force or hire others to do so for you. Fine. If
your worldview is that of a Hobbesian pre-Leviathan "all against all"
situation where there is no state and no law other than the law of the
jungle, that makes sense. In other threads, such as this one, Bob
expresses a disdain for that sort of anarchy. In still other threads,
Bob complains about the government stealing from him (hard to reconcile
with the "might makes right" stance).
One can conclude that Bob is either A) hopelessly confused or B) he is
a hypocrite who believes that might makes right when he is in a
position of might and that might does not make right when he is in the
weaker position. So which is it?
