Please...you people are attempting to justify the stunningly
destructive net rate of taxation, that has already taken the
country irreversibly onto the slippery slope.
so what do you propose? Shifting the deck chairs on the
titanic. Not impressive.
The real cure (which wont happen) is an 80% reduction in the
size of govt to 1975 levels, we did fine at that level, and a
commensurate reduction in tax rates...its real simple.
We dont need a speed cop behind every bush or 5,000 koreans
(many who speak little english) filling the cal trans desk
jobs either.
and we dont need to be retiring CHP officers at age 51 with
120k per year either.
We cant afford it.. the solution is not shifting this bogus
tax burden, it is in eliminating it... and putting these civil
servants to work producing actual goods...that is what fuels
the economy.
Just to clarify my position...I think this notion of alternate
taxation schemes is sick... real sick. it nauseates me.
One can be brighter than that.
